mother of the year strikes again

My good friend Ashley agreed to help me make a nursing cover. Is it perfect? Not even close. Did I have fun making it? You bet, and I guess that's all that matters. When I picked out the fabric the lady cutting it was like "oh this looks like olives in a martini glass" (typical Wisconsin reaction)then she got a funny look on her face when I told her what I was making. I'm hoping people don't think I'm some drunkard that is slippin' the baby some devils brew. If my baby sleeps through the night you may question me but for now the "olive martini" nursing cover says nothing about my parenting skills.

that's funny! The other day an about 45 yeear old women commented when I was nursing Tiig under the cover and she said "aren't those capes the best!!". Well I certainly hope that she does not have any first hand experience because that would probably mean that she is nursing her 15 year old son in public. (disclaimer: I don't know that woman at all, all statements are completely made up by me)

Wow I am really impressed!!! And I personally love the fabric. Did you follow a pattern of some kind??? And did you add some kind of adjustable ring around the neck??? I was wondering if I should make one for myself.
