First Fun Fall

I usually dread fall because I really dread winter but these last few days I have been anxious for fall to come, probably because this is the first fall where I haven't had to go back to school! I can just enjoy those crisp mornings and the fact that I don't have to get up before the sun does! Here are some signs that fall really is just around the corner...

*I've traded my shorts for some capris or pants during my morning jogs
*I switched the mango and peach scented soaps for pumpkin and apple
*I pulled out the soft blanket to snuggle up with on the couch
*I'm drawn to reds and oranges...what?
*I dream about picking apples all day
*I made these cupcakes for the football game (which I slept through!)

I don't know what is going on with me...do I actually like, dare I say love fall???

Okay, minus that fact that winter comes next I love fall too. I just can't shake this feeling of dread when I think about winter.

Fall is so fantastic. It is the most sad part of living here in the Lone Star State....it won't cool off to December. There won't be any changing leaves. Jeans and sweaters will never work. Decorations are the only sign of fall. That and the peanut m&m colors that are out now! :)

I relate so much to this post! I have Never loved Fall like everyone else because I absolutely dread winter. I hate being cold. But this fall seems different. I don't have to go to school! So I'm actually enjoying having it be cooler.

I heart your cup cakes.

I hear ya Jod. I have been really excited this year too. It is gonna be really fun with Carson too though which makes a difference. We haven't even been outside much at all this summer cause its too hot so I am excited to venture outdoors again- pumpkin patches, halloween, playing in the leaves, hay rides, the list goes on!

Fall is the best. I would leave my pumpkins and leaf decor up all year if Nathan didn't mind! The crisp mornings are awesome when you don't have to go anywhere! Hope you keep enjoying it!
