It finally happend!
OK after living here for exactly one year I finally said my first real Wisconsin word...and this was SO not on purpose! I was doing a return for someone at work and said "ok so 47.53 will just go BAAACK on your card." I like stopped for a second and just thought about what I had done. I started to chuckle to myself and then realized that if I explained why I was laughing that would probably be really rude (you know not that laughing for no reason isn't rude but whatev)anyway I just couldn't believe my own ears...and mouth!

My father-in-law is convinced that I am going to pick up the Wisconsin accent, I am convinced that I am not.
Those darn accents! Then there is all I can for gettin one. (trying out hick talk if you can't tell) That's so funny I have cought myself a few times, I just like to think it never realy happens.
I think it's inevitable in Wisconsin...we're surrounded by it...might as well just join the fun! :)
Ah, the Wisconsin accent, I miss it, just wait until you say "bag" like "bage", same with tag and flag. I use to be made fun of no matter where I went, because I for one say bag, tag and flag just like they are spelled, so my friends would make fun of me, then I moved to Utah and apparently had a wisconsin accent too and they made fun of me here, really you just can't win. So just give in and join them. :)
