WOWZAA!!

Well we are now in COLORADO!!!! Yes folks we decided to DRIVE the 20 hour trip to spend Christmas with the fam. David calculated everything from gas, food, hotel etc. to see how much it would cost to drive vs. fly. Keep in mind the closest airport is like 4 hours away. Anyway we left yesterday after school and the roads were pretty good (major storm a-comin') so David decided that hey we might as well just keep driving through the night so we did the white trash thing and slept and hour here or there in our car. Ok actually I pretty much slept the whole way (even though I had intentions of knitting a scarf) and Dave drove the whole way (he can't sleep in a moving car....lucky for me!) Once we hit WY the weather Gods decided to put an end to our happiness. There were semis off the road and about an hour outside of our town we were informed that the road was closed due to a head-on with two semis. We bought a new (used) car in the summer and we were talking about how nice it is to have a reliable car. The weather Gods must have talked to the car Gods because as we were driving from his house to my parents house the car decided to die....and then get stuck! Luckily we were close to my cousins and so we had a warm place to vent!!! It looks like some water got in with the gas....don't quote me on that though! Hopefully everything will be ship-shape tomorrow! Anyway we are here now and after a nice long toothbrushin' and shower we are VERY excited to see everyone. I just love Christmas! Merry Christmas!!!
