Becoming Mary Poppins

Well it has almost been a month that I have been teaching and that translates into a month that I have been carrying around hundreds of papers, binders, my lunch bag, water bottles, folders etc. Thankfully it was Kohl's associate day on Friday/Saturday and I found a purse (or minuture filing cabinet) %60 off the retail price. I was a little hesitant to buy it- considering it is bigger than I am- but made an executive decision that this would be the best option for me, which proved to be right. Today I was having a "not-so-good" day, it was raining cats and dogs and I didn't dare try to run through the rain with all these papers, folders etc etc, then all of the sudden I remembered that I would be able to run quickly from my car to the school due to my trusty new bag...pure happiness! Honestly though it really is WAY too big for me...I feel like Mary Poppins with it, maybe I could pull out a lamp, or a dresser...hum possibly a new piano, kitchen aid, sewing machine? I doubt I get that lucky! Hey if worse comes to worse I could always use it as a sleeping bag :)

I love it! It does remind me of Mary Poppins bag, but much cuter. You probably could hide out in it, if some students give you a hard time.

Jodee, you're hilarious. Just don't wear the bag in a windstorm, you might get blown away! (P.S. If you find a new kitchen table in it, send it my way!)

Jodee you are so cute, that bag looks huge! It's darling though. You could tell your students that you'll make them disappear into it if they misbehave...
