Our little Grant is 1 week old today :( David and I are crushed about this. I just want to keep him small and cuddly. I can't believe how much I love this little guy, he has been such a blessing to us. His bilirubin levels are continuing to go down and hopefully tomorrow will be the last day of the blanket!!!
*He LOVES his hands and always wants them right by his mouth (we had an ultrasound at 40 weeks and he was just licking and licking his fingers...I guess some things don't change)
*He HATES getting his diaper changed...we're hoping to get him potty trained by 6 months:)
*He has a death grip, our doctor mentioned that he was really strong
*Having his foot pricked for blood doesn't even phase him anymore, he doesn't even whimper....I guess I shouldn't brag about that, it's really sad that he's been poked like 7-8 times
*David and I llloooovvveee it when he stretchs, his tiny little legs and arms kind of shake and his forehead gets all scrunched up. So cute!

He is precious! And life gets better after the bili blanket. Carter had to come home with one too. It's lots easier picking them up without the tube sticking out. I hope everything else is going well! Let me know if there is anything I can do. Seriously, let me know!
yay! finally more pictures! it is crazy how quick time is flying by- he's already a week and looks totally different. so that means you need to post pics often! good luck with getting the blanket off hopefully in the next couple days. keep us updated
Oh you guys, he is so darn cute. It makes me miss having a tiny newborn already and by baby is only six months old. Hey, I would love to read the birth story some time. You want to post it?
Oh, so sweet. He looks like David, am I right?
Isn't it amazing how much love you feel for someone so soon? That is one of the amazing things about parenthood!
I hate to tell you this but the weeks just go faster and faster...so hold on tight to his tiny-ness!
Is your mom still here? I hope YOU are doing well too!
He is so darling! I am totally seeing David in him. Especially that second picture. I too, can't get enough of those intense stretches. so cute.
Weeks go by too fast...soon it'll be months and then years! Then they'll be bringing home D's on their report cards (don't ask). Enjoy it while he can't talk back!
He is so adorable! I'm glad you are posting pics, they grow so fast.
I wish I could slow time down as well! I'm so glad his levels are returning to where they should be! He must have fantastic parents!!!
How sweet! He really is so cute. it's amazing the joy you have as a parent, somthing you can't explain but better than anything.
